Acidosis what does this mean for your health

Acidosis... to much acidity in our bodies.A lot of people in North America suffer from many health problems because they eat to many acid forming foods such as:

  • fast food and highly processed food.
  • carbonated soft drinks.
  • animal products.
  • sweets and sugars.
  • coffee and tea
Also, our stress levels are higher than ever before this all contributes to an excess of acid in our bodies… And that can lead to a variety of minor and major illnesses. All metabolic function within the body produces acid waste. A healthy body neutralizes acid waste, therefore able to eliminate it from the body and resist disease. When the body's organs and cells constantly struggle to manage the acid waste some of the toxins end up being reabsorbed into the general circulation and eventually can accumulate in the joints, tissues, muscles and organs.Excessive acid waste can also clog arteries, causing minor or major dysfunction.Eventually this can lead to the entire immune system shutting down and making the body vulnerable to bacteria and viruses.Acidosis is the main cause for a wide range of degenerative diseases and premature aging.

The pH scale
Acidity and alkalinity is measured on the pH scale that ranges from 0[very acidic] to (14 very alkaline)with 7 being neutral pH. The pH of our blood is slightly alkaline and maintained within a narrow range from 7.3 to 7.4. Outside of the normal range cells do not function properly and disorders quickly appear. If blood pH goes below 7.0 (big trouble for the body)

Reduce the acid in your body by choosing foods that are more alkaline, such as:
  • green vegetables.
  • potatoes
  • colored vegetables , except tomatoes
  • fruits
  • almonds.
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • herbs
  • dates and figs
This is just a small list of alkaline foods.

If you're currently struggling with weight loss, low energy and fatigue, osteoporosis, exercise performance, slow recovery you may just want to try adding more alkaline foods and less acidic foods and notice the difference in a week or 2.

I highly recommend you take the time. Go to your local pharmacy pick up some pH strips which you can get for saliva testing or urine testing and find out today what is your pH.
